An Agricultural Assistant provides practical support to farmers, agricultural supervisors, horticultural teams, and farm management staff across a range of farming and crop production activities. The position involves assisting with routine field operations, crop care, farm organization, and general agricultural tasks according to the requirements of the employer.
Responsibilities may include preparing soil and planting areas, assisting with sowing and transplanting, watering and fertilizing crops, removing weeds, monitoring plant growth, supporting pest and disease management activities, and helping with harvesting, sorting, grading, and packing agricultural produce.
